I received a request to blog about my thoughts and sentiments on this. What does it mean when a woman says “It’s too late” to a man? Is she telling her man that she has given up hope?

Sounds like that, doesn’t it? Well, apparently it does have such a connotation. And when a woman says it’s too late, in a general sense, you can take the words literally - meaning it is too late.

Usually a response to certain action, word or behaviour by her partner, when these 3 words come out from your woman’s mouth, to conclude that the death sentence has been given seems too harsh and extreme, but it may indeed reflect her intentions, especially if the circumstances are grave enough.

A wife will stop complaining about anything only when she has told you umpteen times in the past, and you have chose to ignore them. As a husband, do not think that you have won the battle by making your wife shut up, because by shutting up, it also means that she already realised no matter what else she says is no longer going to matter, to you and most importantly to her. So, when she stops her complaining, she also clams herself up, and hardens her heart.

If you by now still do not realise the difference in her affections and behaviour towards you, then you are in a way killing your own marriage.

How then can you, as a husband or boyfriend, turn the situation around when she says “It’s too late” in response to you asking a question or saying something that once used to matter a lot to her but no longer is? Well, it depends on how much this person and this relationship means to you. It’s still not too late, if her heart is not with someone else.

All it means is you have to really spend alot of effort to make her open up again, and to share with you what she really feels. Usually, it is not the words she say that is the problem. For example, if your wife says you have been spending too much on buying unnecessary things, it doesn’t mean she wants to control your expenditure. It probably means she likes to be involved in the decision making of the buying process, and maybe she too has some things she’s had her eyes on but was putting on hold due to the family budget, and there you are happily splurging?

Listen hard to what she says. Listen harder to what she is not saying. And the only way to find out is by asking her, gently. You may need to probe many times before she’s willing to tell you, especially if she has been attempting to communicate to you for thousands of times and not getting any reciprocal attention. How to ask her so you can find out the real answer? Well, secret is, appeal to her emotions and feelings.

Women need to feel secured, loved and appreciated. By taking care of her feelings first before your own needs, you can be sure that she will reciprocate much much more to your needs and give you even more freedom than you can ever imagine.

Like I said, it’s never too late if she is not in love with someone else. All it takes is lots of patience and love on your side to let her know she is still the one you love the most and she is the most important person in your life.

Now that you have a different perspective on the subject of menopause we can continue on and focus on menopause symptoms, treatments, lifestyle and diet to help you get through this transition with ease, confidence and overall good health. Menopause symptoms include:

Weight Gain - Often one of the first signs of menopause that women notice, weight gain is associated with declining hormone levels. It’s not unusual to gain an average of about five pounds in the area of your mid-section or abdomen.

Hot Flashes - As your levels of estrogen drop, there’s a good possibility that your blood vessels may expand, causing your skin temperature to rise. You’ll notice a feeling of warmth moving from your chest, up toward your shoulders, neck and head. Hot flashes can occur several times each day or only occasionally. As with all menopausal symptoms, hot flashes will vary from woman to woman.

If performed correctly, exercise will protect you from many conditions that are common as you get older, such as heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. Exercise and fitness will also eliminate the weight gain associated with menopause, give you more energy and reduce the occurrence of hot flashes.

I’m sure you’ve heard the term hormone therapy (HT), which can help to reduce and eliminate many symptoms experienced by women. Unfortunately, recent studies have shown that the risks of hormone therapy, which include heart attack, stroke and breast cancer, may outweigh the benefits. While these studies may have changed the course of hormone therapy, estrogen therapy remains the most effective treatment for many menopausal symptoms. If you’d like to learn more about estrogen therapy, talk with your doctor to find out if a very low dose will provide you symptom relief.

There are also several prescription drugs that have been proven to decrease the occurrence of hot flashes. These include some antidepressants related to the class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), such as Effexor, Prozac, Sarafem, Paxil, Celaxa and Zoloft. Another drug that has been shown to reduce hot flashes is Neurontin, which is approved to treat seizures. Neurontin is also commonly used to manage chronic nerve-related pain. Additionally, Catapres, which is typically used to treat high blood pressure, may also significantly reduce the frequency of hot flashes. Of course, some of these drugs may cause side effects, which include dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, sexual dysfunction and other symptoms. If, however, your hot flashes are severe and natural remedies haven’t seemed to help, discuss these options with your doctor.

Finally, it’s so very important for you to understand that menopause is very natural. As you experience these symptoms remind yourself that your body is acting and reacting just as it was meant to act and react. While there may be periods of discomfort, remember that you’re a healthy woman and, as such, menopause is simply inevitable. As stated earlier, this transition does not mark the end of your youth and all that comes with it. With a healthy lifestyle, this can be a very active and beautiful new beginning.

The latest Chicago Bear news is that the national experts have anointed Lovie Smith’s (head coach) as the best in the National Football League (NFL). Smith does not seem to be impressed with what the experts have done. “Once they start giving out trophies after five games, then you start patting yourself on the back,” Smith said. “We’re 5-0 right now, (but) we haven’t accomplished any of our goals. We have so much football left to go.

Based statistics so far, you would be very impressed with the team. They are averaging a league-leading 31.2 points a game and have only permitted 7.2 points a game. “It’s hard beating teams by those types of scores in the league,” Smith said. “All I can say is that we’re pleased with where we are. I don’t know how it’s happened, but it has. I wish they gave out championships after five games, but they don’t.”

The latest Chicago Bear news is that defensive end Adewale Ogunleye and defensive end Ian Scott. This has left the Bears team without two starting linemen who could help the league’s stingiest defense even stingier.

Ogunleye has been out with a hamstring and has missed most practices the last few weeks. He has been replaced by Israel Idonije. Ian Scott has been replaced by Tank Johnson.

The latest Chicago Bear news is that the team has made some personnel changes. They have claimed defensive Marcus Maxey off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs and wide receiver Airese Currie has become the newest member of the injured reserve on the team due to a foot injury.
Maxey had first been drafted by the Chiefs last year. He did not play in the first two games of this season and was then waived.

As part of the special teams, Currie made his NFL debut in the season opener at Green Bay. He was picked in the fifth round by the Bears in 2005.

You know what’s wonderful… I’ve went ahead and ‘bit the bullet’ for my personal team and invested my time and money to learn the skills in methods one and two so that you don’t have to right now. My personal team members have access to world renowned marketing advice, lead generation tools and systems that are designed to have your prospects calling you for more information.

Method 3: If your too lazy to learn these skills yourself or you are new to this industry and need to develop your phone skills or if you just don’t have the time and need to start making an income right now then this is the best option for you…

Purchase leads from a qualified, well known, lead vendor. One that also provides training, support, and an opportunity to quickly recoup your investment. Finding a good leads source is like shopping for a used car. Everyone says they have the best leads, for the best price possible, but you never really know until you get on the road…

* ASSEMBLY OR CRAFT WORK: Most of these programs tell you how easy it is to produce goods for a company that promises to buy them from you once you complete them, thus earning you a nice weekly income. They fail to tell you how many hours are required in order to produce those items, how much of your money is required as an investment in supplies, and that you will never be paid because no work ever done by anyone is “up to standard”.

*CHAIN LETTERS: You make copies of a certain letter and send that letter to people whose names and addresses are provided. All you are required to do is send ten dollars for a mailing list and labels. You are then shown a chart to see how you can automatically receive thousands of dollars. The only people who ever make any money from chain letters are the ones who are at the top of the chain who, by the way, are continually changing the names and post office boxes.

*ENVELOPE STUFFING: Ads for envelope stuffing have been around for years in various formats. The basic claim is that for a fee, you will be provided with directions to earn money from home simply by stuffing envelopes. After you make the initial investment, you discover there was never any real employment offer. Instead, you are told how to place ads in newspapers, magazines, online classifieds, etc. The only way for you to earn money is if people respond to your ads.

*MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING: Many illegal pyramid schemes can resemble legitimate MLM programs. Multi-level marketing is a business primarily based on direct sales, not recruiting. The pyramid scheme’s primary goal is to recruit others into the program instead of selling the product. At some point, everything collapses because the market becomes saturated and only a few people at the top have made money.

*MEDICAL BILLING: Ads for medical billing are everywhere. The sales pitch says there is a crisis in the health care industry due to the massive task of processing paper claims. Since only a small fraction of the claims are fulfilled electronically, the opportunities in this area are huge. You are also promised to be provided with clients.

Unfortunately, the reality is that you have to do the selling yourself. Very few people who invest in a medical billing business are able to find clients and generate an income. The competition in this market is brutal and primarily centers on a few large companies.

If you find yourself interested in a home-based opportunity and want to pursue it, acquire as much information as possible about the company. Know who you are dealing with. A legitimate company will have no problem with providing answers to your questions concerning costs, work involved, etc.

Be very clear in your questions regarding the costs involved. Confirm that you are not required to pay for additional fees above and beyond the start-up fee or initial investment. Make sure you know what the refund policy is.

Before making any investments in any companies, insist upon receiving contact information for references. Contact those references and speak to them, preferably in person. Ask them if the company follows through with their claims and if they have any complaints.

It can be very beneficial for you to spend some time researching work at home opportunities. There are many resources available specifically designed to answer your questions regarding online employment.

There are also resources that list legitimate companies that hire people to work from home. A very good source is to search for large company and corporate websites (IBM, Penney’s, Disney, etc.). Whatever store, company or corporation you can think of, they will probably have a website. If they have a website, there will be a link for jobs.

You can also search general employment sites (jobs.com, monster.com, careerbuilder.com, etc.). There are scores of websites for general job searches and there are always some home-based jobs listed.

There are companies that will hire you to split your time between an office and your home. Many major corporations now that offer this kind of flexibility for their employees. You might even be able to convert your present job into a telecommuting one. It never hurts to ask your employer.

Many legitimate home-based opportunities are available, but you must spend some time and effort locating them. Always remember, if you are unsure about an opportunity, ask questions. You will not know if something is a possibility for you unless you get answers to your questions.

If you do invest in a work at home opportunity and discover that it is not legitimate, contact the company and ask for a refund. If they will not honor your request, find out the physical address and contact information of the company. You can then make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or your local Attorney General’s office. You can also find out if any other complaints have been received for that company.
